Project One:
An Ambulance for Irob Wereda
Since Fall of 2004, IRROB has been conducting a major fundraising drive and soliciting the general public to raise $150,000.00 for the purpose of purchasing an Ambulance and sponsoring healthcare professionals for the Irob Woreda (Tigray) of the northern Ethiopia. IRROB is also in need of raising funds to secure seed money for the capacity building of the organization.
All visitors of this site are invited and encouraged to participate in this fund drive effort through their charitable contributions and/or by shopping and buying online - from the virtual stores on this website - merchandise which they normally purchase in stores for their day-to-day needs.
With the generous help and partnership of the caring and supporting people like you, IRROB is confident to achieving its goals and delivering the direly needed healthcare outreach services to the sociopolitically and economically vulnerable people of Irob.
An Ambulance is urgently needed for the Irob Region to transport
critically sick patients from remote rural areas to
hospitals/clinics in urban areas
